Shawn has been involved in racing for more than 25yrs.  Starting when he was 11 years old, he raced go-carts and motocross for 19 years, from 1982 thru 2001, acuminating 41 moto wins.  One of Shawn’s most accomplished successes during this time was winning the Inaugural Las Vegas Motocross “Under the Lights” championship race in 1997.

From 2001 thru 2007, Shawn began racing in the INEX, 600 Racing Legends Car Series, accumulating 9 Semi-Pro class wins, 17 Heat Race wins, and 37 top 10 finishes.  His most accomplished success in INEX Legends Cars racing was finishing 6th in National INEX point’s series in the 2003 Asphalt Nationals.

From 2008 thru 2010, Shawn began racing the NASCAR WHELEN All-American Modified Series and a  select number of ARCA Truck Series races. Shawn has seen success early  on in these series with his first win in his 4th start, 4 top 5 finishes, and 3 Heat Race wins. 

From 2011 thru 2016 Shawn competed full time in the ARCA Truck Series where he won the ARCA ROOKIE of the YEAR in 2011 and ARCA Truck Series Championship in 2016.

In 2017, Shawn raced a limited schedule in the CRS (Coyote Super Truck Series) where he won 3 of the 6 races he entered. Bad luck struck twice while leading in the other races that ended with one DNF, a Black Flag where he finished 4th and a 2nd at the series final race of 2017.
